Abortion Doulas and Why They Are So Important with Amber Matteson

With the latest news of overturning Roe v. Wade, it is evident that it is a huge step back for health care. However, this is not a shock to many who know the available care for pregnant women.

Shelly and Amber talk about how important it is to have abortion support that would not shove bible verses down your throats or make you feel bad about doing it. Amber is part of a community that healthily supports choices, providing all the scientific information and options before making the final decision up to the healing process.

Unbeknownst to the public, Amber and Shelly emphasized that abortion is a loss and people grieve differently. In that grieving process, we need the proper support around us, and that’s what people like Amber do. What’s more impressive is that she doesn’t have a fixed price for her services, which could be completely free. In doing so, she provides access to reliable information for everyone! They also talked about how well-meaning help may cause more damage.
