Parenting in The NICU with Emily Newberg, Founder of Baby Bean
Most parents are scared to hear “NICU.” Who wouldn’t, right? As parents, we want the best for our babies the moment they are brought into this world. Nobody wants their baby to stay in a hospital attached to different machines. However, it is something we barely have control over.
In this episode, we are joined by Emily Newberg. She is the founder of Baby Bean, a birth and postpartum doula, and an expert on all things baby. With her 20+ years of experience in taking care of babies and families, she didn’t expect that there would be a time when she would be the one needing much support.
Along with the remarkable things she’s done, she’s also a NICU mom. According to her, having all the knowledge and experiences may have made her experience a little lighter, but it’s still different when you are in that situation.
Listen and learn from her NICU story and how she and her baby survived and is now enjoying the comforts of their own home.
